Shankar Earni

Program Manager in Building Technologies and Urban Systems Division, at Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory (LBNL) where he specializes in measurement and verification. He has been a part of the Applications Team supporting the Federal Energy Management Program’s (FEMP) Energy Savings Performance Contracts (ESPCs).

He has been a part of the Applications Team supporting the Federal Energy Management Program’s (FEMP) Energy Savings Performance Contracts (ESPCs). Prior to LBNL, he worked as a Senior Performance Assurance Specialist at Johnson Controls where he was involved with auditing, project development and implementation of energy projects in commercial buildings. Shankar also has led and participated in the development of energy audits for industrial and commercial sectors to identify energy and productivity savings. He received his Ph.D. in Industrial Engineering and Management from Oklahoma State University and his M.S in Petroleum and Mechanical Engineering from University of Tulsa as well as his BS in Mechanical Engineering from Andhra University.
